The Ezines and newsletters arena is getting more competitive nowadays especially in the internet marketing niche.
However, you can still win in this area via proper list building mechanics. The trick is to get more people to sign up so that you can build a list for other monetizing purposes such as selling e-courses or information products.
1) Send out a viral report to your subscribers, and then ask them to share the article or report with friends. Ensure that the content qualifies the report as viral, or with very high value add to the reader.
2) You can also try giving incentives your current subscribers to send out the articles. One example is to give away your e-book product to whoever can bring more than 30 new friends to the list within a month.
